We're An Important Tool in Your Kitchen

People who start food businesses typically do so because they're passionate about food. They're excited to share their recipes, love feeding others, and even want to shape how America eats.

But food startups can stumble without the right legal protections in place. The regulations affecting food and beverage businesses are complex, and the legal landscape is confusing. Multiple agencies regulate the industry, making answers difficult to find.

Startup Food Biz provides entrepreneurs like you tools and resources to help you navigate food-related laws and regulations.

Our online courses teach you what you need to know to get your food business up and running and help you avoid potential pitfalls. Our courses are designed to be informative, convenient, and, most importantly, affordable.

We are a private company—indeed, a startup ourselves—supported by a grant from the U.S. Department of Agriculture. The USDA knows that food entrepreneurs often have difficulty gaining access to this important material, so they are assisting us with getting the word out.

"As a new business owner, we didn't always know the questions to ask. Patrick was able to call out items that we should have been concerned about. He crossed all the T's and dotted all the I's"

"Pat has a way of explaining law in a way for any novice to understand. He provides professionalism and impeccable knowledge in the industry. If I didn't have Patrick, I would be lost and probably still trying to figure out how to finalize my business."
